• a modern world almost identical to ours except... okay, envision: world war one is still raging. most of mainland europe has been under on and off german occupation since, especially russia's constantly rebelling, norway and sweden are staying neutral in this cesspool, baby, and with the help of america, england's the last bastion standing. • in this almost post-apocalyptic landscape, there's a guy, just your average london school teacher, who's exceptionally good at the spy stuff. he's been handpicked by british intelligence to go undercover on the mainland, he's done it a couple of times already.
• his name used to be patrick blaise, back when he actually had a civilian life, now he mostly goes by fox "whatever surname suits the job", currently it's decker.
• he infiltrates the big german bosses' houses as an english tutor during the day, then does the same thing by sleeping with them at night. yes, you heard that right. fox plays the spy game like the ladies usually do it. he quite likes it, too.
• speaks english and german fluently, a passable russian, a not so passable french. can write and translate from latin and greek. used to make a living teaching british brats about literature and history. misses it sometimes. german brats just aren't as lovable.
• 31 years old, no family to speak of, nothing to lose, everything to gain.
